They are worn as pull up pants. They are discreet as they look like normal underwear, showing very little bulk but providing optimum protection and comfort. They are recommended for light or moderate incontinence. Because of their lightweight padding material, they are not suitable for heavy urinary or fecal incontinence. The pull up design makes it easily wearable for people who are mobile but may not practical for non-ambulant patients.

 

  • Drop Front Incontinence Pants – they are designed like pull up pants with disposal pads attached to them but the front part can be flapped down for easy removal of the absorbent pads. They provide protection for light as well as moderate incontinence. Like the stretch fabric pants, they are best used by patients who are mobile.

 

  • Waterproof Incontinence Pants – they are designed like briefs and are made of plastic, vinyl, rubber or nylon. They are worn I combination with other incontinence protection such as pads and diapers for absorption. This waterproof incontinence pants is ideal for medium to heavy incontinence. They are also best for nightwear. They may be too bulky for use by those suffering from light to medium incontinence.
